    love the interesting foliage and the contrast of red and green. One does not expect cactus in a Christmas picture. Very nice.

    The clarity you have achieved in this picture from the Chicago Botannical Gardens is just terrific. The reflection of the roofing is just perfect in the red bauble, but it is the needles on the cactus that really makes this image for me. Well done.

    This is just beautiful! I love the opposites here - red/green, smooth/prickly. The reflections in the ornaments are really cool.

    I enjoyed reading about you in the beginning and then was so surprised to see that this photo was taken in CHICAGO! LOL! I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago and now travel full time in our 5th wheel.

    Love the detail in the reflections! Especially interesting is the reflection incorporating the reflection of the nearby red orb! The reflections suggest a conservatory or greenhouse in the gardens?

    That photo is wonderful! I love the similarities and contrasts - both things are round .. but opposites on the colour wheel and smooth/spiky, etc. The ridges work well, too!
