The furniture inside the houses at Bokrijk Museum Park is decorated with old kitchen utensils like this wired egg basket for instance.
The glass object is not a bottle, it’s an old fly catcher.

Excellent shots of some really cool old-time stuff.
Wow how does it catch flies?
I still like the old sticky tape.
I watch the flies struggling on it and think Yes!
Its working.
I like the sepia tone for these old-fashioned items. I love the shape of the bottle of the fly-catcher.
It would be an unusual pic in any color! The same question: how does it catch flies? I swap them with a fly swapper:)
Fly catcher? How would you catch flies in that?? think it is beautiful, though, and would lovely on my bookshelf. :-)
Very interesting fly catcher!
interesting objects. My mother-in-law still uses a fly catcher.
I really like that egg basket. I do believe my great aunt has one tucked away somewhere.
So perfect in sepia. I don't think I ever knew about fly catchers like that. Trying to imagine the amount of fun (or not, maybe) in trying to use one.
Also, thank you so much for all of your kind comments welcoming me back. You are sweet. :)
Magnificent vintage shot, Jientje! Thanks for participating! :)
A fly catcher? Do you put sweet water in it? Nice scene. :)
Wonderful picture, I would assume the Wire Egg Basket was used to bring the eggs into the house?
