I was a little bit at a loss for a Midweek Blues post today but then I got the idea to just grab my camera and document my day.
This is the view from my patio. This is how my day started out. See that little patch of blue there? This is the happiest color of blue there is. It’s the promise of a beautiful day.
I love this view. It’s the old windmill where my neighbors live.
I love it when I can throw open windows and doors and listen to the peaceful early morning sounds, the birds singing, and the murmuring sound of the water fountain.
Everything is still so peaceful.
Time to wave my husband goodbye and go about the business of the day ...
… have another cup of coffee, check my emails and visit some blogs!
I love how tidy my kitchen looks.
Oh and don’t you just love how the sun flirts with the pansies?
I could not resist taking this photo, even though there is no blue in it. The rhododendron is at the peak of it’s beauty, and I bet you can hear this little bee buzz?
Pretty little pink flowers against a blue sky. My hanging baskets are thriving. I’m going to have to water them tonight.
And this is what I had for lunch. Baked Dover sole with grilled asparagus, carrots and red bell pepper. It tasted even more delicious because I was able to eat outside.
I even used a blue plate, how about that eh? I love how the blue brings out the greens, and makes the reds look more vibrant. Pretty isn’t it?
Oops. I’m sorry. Did I make you hungry?

I LOVE a kitchen that looks like the owner likes to cook!
I see the skies have been lovely over Belgium lately. And your flowers are lovely. Yes, this is a great time of year to open the windows!
LOVELY! The pictures are great and I enjoy living a little in Belgium through your eyes.
I was going to comment on that little patch of blue, and then on your amazing garden, but it's your LUNCH that really gets me. Makes my ham sandwich look pretty bad!
I'm still waiting for my patch of blue sky to show up. Looks like it was a lovely day. I love all the blue pottery in your kitchen. And your lunch looks amazing! I need to go shopping for some vegetables since we seem to be out of them!
I loved your day--and all the glimpses of blue today.
Well, this certainly chased my blues away today. I loved spending your day with you. I love your salt glazed pottery too! You better check and make sure I didn't bring any pieces home with me.
Oh my goodness. That view is to die for! And your patio looks like an oasis! Pure loveliness!
that was a wonderful post today! I love your surroundings and how lush and green everything is around your home. The colors today were vibrant and YES you made me hungry!

I have a confession. I saw this yesterday and enjoyed it so much that I told my husband about! And after all that I forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I just adore your kitchen and porch. So welcoming!
You did good Tuesday, Jientje. Your garden is beautiful. I am always amazed over your neighbors who live in the tower. For sure they need some bigger windows.
