I know Weekly Winners is supposed to be about your favorite photos of the past WEEK, but I’m cheating! For this week’s edition of Weekly Winners I am publishing some of my favorite “people” photos I took in the month of May.
I like to keep my posts themed, so please forgive me!
I have enjoyed pointing my camera in people’s faces on various occasions this month.
My lovely daughter, to begin with …
The actors at Bokrijk Museum Park ...
At the costumed event in Hingene …
and a day at the beach …
No. This last one is not proof people still wear wooden shoes over here. But he did!

Great people photos. I like themes too. I'm normally to all over the place to follow one though! I love the beach people. the two women on the bench is fantastic.

A wonderfully eclectic collection of characters!

Wonderful photos! I love the one of the priest!
I love people shots... and you got some great ones. Those wooden shoes crack me up! Sure, I believe you.... SURE!
What a great place to have a camera. You really made the most of it.
Great shots! Love the people at the beach!!
I love seeing your pictures. Y'all are in such an interesting place!
Very interesting photos! So sharp and I love looking at all walks of life. I am not good at taking people pictures. But you? An expert, I must say!
I love your spy photos! lol. I'm especially glad that first guy did not see you, he looks mad! :) These are all great Jientje!
these are great pictures. i love your viewpoint.
Great pictures!
Love the costumed characters. Such cool shots, especially the sepia-ish one!
These are amazing portraits. You are so bold with that camera. I get very self-conscious about taking pictures of "other" people.
I love the priest and the guy looking over his glasses. Great shots!
You always get such great people shots! I love them all. I a always afraid that somebody will want to beat me up if I take their picture and then there is the fact that us Canadians can be pretty boring at least around here. I am going to a cowboy camp with a friend in June so maybe I can get some good shots there. I still need a better camera though.
These are fantastic! What great captures... a photo can say so much. And these all speak volumes.
This is a fabulous set of photos Jientje
Mooie reeks, wat een talent!
Very nice portraits! The priest is fantastic, reminds me of some type of northern Don Camillo
Most excellent set of portraits!
I love your people portraits. You always get such interesting shots.
The harp player was my favorite. But they were all so good, especially the wooden shoes :)
