Friday again, time to share five favorite things from the week that has passed. It’s been a rather slow week, nothing major happened, but it’s still nice to look back on it.
1. The pancakes I made for brunch last Sunday. I had some leftover ricotta from my pasta dish and wanted to do something with it. I found this recipe at the English Kitchen and decided to give it a try. I served them with honey and they were delicious!
2. I got rid of my snow decoration and put up my Easter decoration. Spring is finally happening inside the house as well!
3. I made a photo walk on Wednesday afternoon, and found art in unexpected places.
4. I found a very special teeny tiny little coffee place. Coffees, teas, lattes and all kinds of hot chocolates, this guy makes a work of art out of any cup he serves. Especially the hot chocolates made my mouth water. I wanted to stick to my diet so I only had a tiny coffee with cinnamon, but it tasted great. Coffee with cinnamon is SO good!
5. On Thursdays my favorite magazine is in the shop. I really enjoy snuggling up on the couch with it, a cup of tea within reach …
Friday’s Fave Five is hosted by Susanne at Living to Tell the Story.

It sounds like you had a relaxing type of week. Nice photos - I love the light in all of them.
Isn't it nice when even the tiniest of weeks have such pleasant things in them. I like cinnamon with coffee also.
What a lovely photo collage! I also like pancakes, coffee, tea, and photography :).
I love the collage of pics! Mmm, pancakes! I have cinnamon & ginger in my coffee every morning. It's not fresh, but it does give it a nice taste. (((HUGS)))
I think I might have to try that pancake recipe. Today!
Your photos are so creative - and inspiring - as always. I have a coffee date this morning - thanks for the reminder to bring my camera along.
Now I'll check out your pancake recipe.
Happy weekend Jientje!
I enjoyed devouring your photos, probably as much as you did, with those delicious pancakes!
It is always a treat to view things through your eyes.
Sounds like a great week. That coffee shop would be hard to resist! I love finding UNexpected art! :)
I LOVE this college you made. I am inspired and want to see if I can do it sometime. It won't be with as much skill as yours, but I think it would still be fun. Thanks!
Pancakes! I'm going to have to check out that recipe. I haven't had pancakes in ages.
It is always a feast to my eyes to visit here and see your wonderful photography Jientje. Of course my stomach also has a tendency to growl when you show us your cooking endeavors!! Your header is amazing. Have a great weekend.
How DO you make your pancakes turn out like that?! I'm heartily jealous! THat is one food that is so tricky for me!
As always, I thoroughly enjoy your photos.
Have a wonderful weekend!
It sounds like a lovely week, Jientje! So relaxing. I loooove cinnamon coffee. Together with good company or a good magazine? Heaven!
what a great week! AHHHH someday I will TRY and do a collage of my pics, I just don't get it... so NOT computer literate!
Thanks for reminding me that I should get out my Easter decorations now. Time gets away from me so quickly that I sometimes barely get them out in time. Your pictures are all lovely. You’re quite gifted with a camera!
Yum to those pancakes !! Interesting little Easter decoration too! Looks like you had a relaxing week
Hey there, just catching up as I seem to always be behind on reading. Love the collage and the pancakes look especially yummy. That's what I'm having for dinner tonight. Love the piano man, is that song he was playing? We've gotten pouring rain for 2 days now. Happy Spring to you!
Coffee and pancakes - two of my favorite things ever. Love this compilation.
I recently tried a ricotta pancake dish and it was so yummy.
Such a beautiful blog. I am so glad that I stopped by to visit.
Grace to you

Those pancakes look delicious! I love coffee too. I think Vicki will like the idea of cinnamon in coffee, Ive never tried it. I love photo walks and I can't wait to have one in Belgium.
Have a great weekend! :)
love the pancakes, they must have been very good. the weather is so lousy that I don't do anything special !
Your photos are beautiful!
Sometimes slow weeks are the best...we really have time to notice things around us. And it looks like you did this week!
Don't you love curling up with a good magazine?
That's a beautiful collage, looks like you had an exciting and delicious week!
Beautiful. I enjoyed Belgium when I visited-miss it.
