I’m usually very drawn to beautiful or interesting doors, but I often forget to pay attention when it comes to photograph windows. I immediately fell in love with this old shop door. It’s a little eating place and the sign on the door says “it’s a pity, we’re closed”. The Muscari in the window display looked so sunny it made me want to include part of the the window as well.
But when I walked around the corner, I discovered real art painted on the blinds!
Perfect for a Window Views ( and doors too!)

jammer, indeed!
I don't quite get the art, but it is neat to see over a plain blind.
Of course you are usually drawn to interesting or beautiful doors! I am, too! But this one is still interesting, though it's not beautiful. I like the angle of the old-fashioned door handle, and the notice is fun!
Amazing design. Great find!
Clever idea putting a piece of art on blinds. Nice pictures too.
I love when people take the time to create art in unexpected places.
only in Europe will you find such treasures like these fun shops and the cobblestone streets and colorful buildings! The states have their own kind of beautiful finds but Europe is just....quaint and nostalgic and has such a wonderful feel of sleepy township stuff, does that make sense? I just find your pictures so delightful... hugs...
Interesting idea to put art on the blinds.
Very interesting view! I love the artwork. Have a wonderful weekend, Jientje :)
jientje, I'm so glad I stopped by to see your Windows post! Thanks for playing along. I really appreciate it.
LOVE the idea of the painted blinds...I MUST have my daughter paint some for me. ha
