I could not resist this superb display with all the old tomato varieties when I passed by a tiny grocery store in Goult. It made me greedy, I wanted to buy one of each!
My favorite tomato is the Coeur de Boeuf tomato, it’s the one on the bottom row right next to the pink bulbs of garlic.

I did not realise that tomatoes could be indented like those on the bottom right! They almost look like red peppers/capsicums! A stunning shot!
What a lovely display! A good year for the farmers.
They all look great. I love Fresh Vegetables.

Mmmmmm. Yummy.
I would love to be there right now and taste them all!!!! How wonderful to have that many to choose from!!!
They look like art work sitting in the crates.....I think I would love a close up photo of just the tomatoes for my kitchen, don't you think that would make a great picture?
Hugs,

What a wonderful array of tomatoes.
We used to always grow Beef tomatoes.
They were so large three people could eat from one.
