My favorite photos this week are from the Chateau Marnix de Sainte Aldegonde in Bornem.
It looks like a castle from a fairy tale, and is completely furnished and decorated inside, as the owners still live in it. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take photos inside, but the beautiful views of the castle and the river Schelde where it is situated made me glad I did bring my camera!

That is a gorgeous castle. I'm stunned that it's still a private residence.
Couldn't begin to imagine the experience or expense of living in such an enormous home, but it would be wonderful to explore.

Wow, that is an enormous castle. It kind of reminds me of a place near me that is no more. It was magnificent, but it was destroyed by the wrecking ball because there was no one with the funds or interest to purchase it and maintain it. Very sad when things of beauty are destroyed.
Ahhh....the very images fairytales are made of!
