Art, street art, pop art … graffiti. Some people hate it, some people love it.
I can appreciate graffiti if it’s in the right places and I rather like this bridge project where artists have been invited to decorate the walls. Some of it is really amazing. Without the street Picasso’s this would be just another ordinary and boring bridge.

Someone who is very, very smart was in charge of that concept. The bridge would have been covered anyway, now it's done beautifully and colorfully. It's an art exhibit rather than just a graffiti collage. Of course, your use of light (like picture 2) is perfect. Is it too late to make you the official photographer of the world?
very crative and artisitc, graffitti is unstoppable these days, they are everywhere..
I love the way someone decided to coopt the graffiti artists for the greater good - what a terrific example of successful urban planning - and the art is really eye-popping too!

We have buildings in our city covered with art and murals, and I like it. I think the key word for me is INVITED.
You took some great shots here. I love the angles of some of them. The street art is beautiful. It's better than seeing a lot of gang tagging. There are some great artists lurking around! I'm amazed at how clean it is under the bridge!
I agree that without street art our world would be poorer. We just need to encourage those talented artists with big 'canvasses' for their art. Love this.

This is very eye-catching! I like the artists who actually painted something - just names and initials don't do it for me.
While I like this I wouldn't want every underpass to be done. It could get overwhelming. :)

I agree with you some of them are real artists and do wonderful things. What I don't like at all are these taggers who smear their signs which nobody can read everywhere !
The urban landscape can be bleak. However, the bridge piers are wonderful as art, the highway can take us away - but with this art, we could make it a destination...
I love graffiti as long as it is in good taste.

What a wonderful series. I'm am like you. I am in awe of some of the artistic talent displayed throughout the city streets and buildings.
It is much better under this bridge than on some of the historic places you showed before..some of it is quite artistic in this post.
The more I look at these photos, the more details I see. I love the rats and sewer pipes that someone painted on the posts.
