Groot Bijgaarden castle is where I took my door pictures this week.
And for once …
… I did NOT forget the widows!
I even remembered to take a photo from inside looking out!

Wish I had an impressive castle so close to visit!
That last shot is my favorite! So pretty.
Amazing detail. I love the angle you shot the castle at in the first shot too.
I enjoyed the photos.
What a beautiful place. Love all the architectural details. The live flowers caught me by surprise; everything else has an ancient, no longer living sort of look.
LOL. Looks like a beautiful old building.
Great place, great photos
what lovely pictures of this castle. i would enjoy a time here with my camera too. thanks for sharing and for dropping by to see my windows and door.
Oh my goodness what a lovely place to visit. Is it cold inside the walls of the castle? No wonder all the ladies had to dress the way they did! I like how the door mat was placed on the gravel...hmmm. LOL
Your window views are always so cool! I would love to live amongst such old beauty...

I love castles - even though this one doesn't look like the traditional castle. I do like the small tower with pointy roof (I expect it has a name?) at the right of picture.
Lovely photos !
It looks like a wonderful place. I really like the bottom photo!
Beautiful doors. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to live in a place that has buildings that old. Most of Idaho has been settled for 125 years or less. Nothing around here more than 100 years old. I like your pictures of historical places.
Wonderful shots of the cstle! Looks like they did not want people climing in the windows.
Gorgeous old castle, wonderful shots!
Didn't you visit the flower exposition there ? I wanted to go but I have a cold and am locked inside and feel lousy.
Oh wow, that first door is too cool! The shape, the details, the color, the texture. One of my new favorites for sure!
If your work depends on it, learn to check just three times.
The ship owner could see that the captain had paid the on going rate
