Play Me - Neil Diamond
She was morning
And I was night time
Beside my bed
I softly said
Come take meAnd I was night time
I one day woke up
To find her lyingBeside my bed
I softly said
For Ive been lonely
In need of someone
As though Id done
Someone wrong somewhere
I dont know where
Come lately
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
Song she sang to me
Song she brang to me
Words that rang in me
Rhyme that sprang from me
Warmed the night
And what was right
Became me
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
And so it was
That I came to travel
Upon the road
That was thorned and narrow
Another place
Another grace
Would save me
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me

i love these shots!!! so happy.
Great photos.
BEautiful!!! The song (I LOVE Neil Diamond) and the photos!!! You are one patient woman!
Stunning! I especially love the first and third ones. Is that a mosquito??
Beautiful!
And thank you for the award...I heart you too!!
I don't know how you do it - but all of your photo's are spectacular!
I don't know you either but lovely photos, and I love Belgium too. My sister went to medical school in Liege! And, OMG, les frites et les brioches, it's all coming to me now.
lovely words to that song~
Your photos are so full of the beauty of summer!
Beautiful photos! And I love the song that goes with it. ;-)
I dont' know how you do this. I would have a hard enough time seeing those bugs on the flowers with just my eyes. But to get this pictures like this, tell the story and the music that goes with it all ... just makes it perfect :)
Beautiful shots Jientje!
That insect creature is a little scary.
All of these are beautiful.
Beautiful photos... the daisies are so fresh and clean...they knew you were coming!
The first few shots - amazing - an unusual angle to see Daisies from. Incredible shots, Jientje.
Awesome macro shots.
That was beautiful. Just beautiful.
Anything looks beautiful against a blue sky like that, and you dramatized the flower to be all the more lovely.
@ Margie: Yes, I had fun making them!
@ moneythoughts: Thank you!
@ Melli: I was one LUCKY lady, I was trying to find the right angle to get the flower and a the little puffy white cloud in the picture when this little guy hopped on the flower and posed for me! All I needed to do wash click the shutter, he did not mind my presence at all!
@ Terri: I have no idea what it was, it looked a little bigger than a normal mosquito does though.
@ Jacki: Much deserved my friend!
@ Libby: Sometimes I get a little lucky!
I like the bugs with such sucking straw-like device for a mouth away from me - I cannot take such shot because I am covered in OFF and bugs never appear close enough to me :) Those are very artful pictures - the chamomile is precious /is it chamomile - I would lay down near that flower for hours - love it!/ It is reaching the sky!
How did you do that, were you on the ground looking up? Really neat photos of the bug! You have a super camera and 2 great eyes for detail!
You are a Macro Marvel! Stunning.
Tell me where in Chicago, when you know.
Heidi
Beautiful, classic blue sky with the daisy looking up, but the Bee/honey sucker looks rather intimidating!
WOW! I love upshots of flowers! And he came in right on cue! Stunning!
What great shots and how nice of the little bug to pose for you!
I cannot believe I am looking at a mosquito and considering it beautiful. I have been killing them right and left here!
@ MrsLittleJeans: Welcome! Frites are a Belgian invention even though people call them French fries, they're not French. Not in the least!
@ Tammie Lee: Neil Diamond sure knows how to write a song! All I did was add the pictures!
@ Your EG Tour guide: Yup, I love his voice, his music and his lyrics!
@ Thom: I was trying to find the right angle to get the right composition of the flower and the white fluffy cloud when this guy landed on the flower and posed for me.
@ Carletta: He was not scary. He just got on with his business, did not seem to mind me.
@ Jan: thanks!
@ Wanda: They were camomille flowers, not daisies.
@ Lou: I could never take that picture with a DSLR and a big macro lens. The lens is just too big to get a shot from that angle.
@ Secretmomthoughts: Thank you!
@ Dr John: Thank you!
@ Leora: a blue sky makes all the difference, that's true!
@ ellievellie: it's Chamomille, that's right!
@ Becky: I was sitting on my knees to make macro's from the chamomille flowers, and decided I wanted to try a different angle. I could not do this with a huge lens, but I can with my camera! I love that angle, done it before and will do it again!
@ 2Thinks: I will be in Chicago Nov 14, 15, and 16th, leaving on Thursday nov 17th. It would be nice to meet other bloggers like you!
@ amanda: I did not think he was intimidating, no.
@ Lisa: Thank you, I was so lucky he hopped on that flower!
Susanne: Yes, very nice of him!
@ Quilly: LOL. Everything has it's beauty, even a mosquito! I never thought I would hear me say that either!
Hi Jientje, I'm catching up, these are superb captures :-). Kathy.
