Bokrijk Museum park is always a beautiful place to shoot pictures, but when Mother Nature cooperates and decorates the park with a thin layer of snow, it becomes a decor for Anton Pieck prints. Perfect for sepia pictures.

Lovely collection of photos. Sepia makes things so interesting sometimes. Gives it that old feel. I love the new photo in your header too. Taken from a distance like it is gives it that stunning factor. Looking forward to checking out the 365 project...I decided not to go for that myself as I would feel to pressured!
Hurray, I can finally comment again. For several days the cursor hasn't appeared in the comment box for me, leaving me sadly unable to comment on your beautiful photos.
I love this series, historical recreations are such a great choice for sepia, a real natural fit, and these are wonderfully done.
Oh so lovely. You have inspired me to get out of doors with my camera again. I haven't done that in ever so long. It's really cold here!
Thanks for the memories these brought me Jientje! Around 12 years old, I corresponded with a penpal in the Neatherlands, who sent me similar photos.
Thanks for the pictures Jientje.
Perfect is right. These look like they were taken years ago. They really are wonderful shots.
These are all gorgeous, but I think my favorite is the windmill shot. I love the angle of it - it's very inviting.
Beautiful. I love the thatched roof.
Wonderful shots! I like the first one best but it's a tough choice. The first image is composed so well!!
Just have to comment on your beautiful photographs. They just pull me in. All of them.
How cute! A little bird house for Mary!
Jientje, I love the pinkish tone of your gorgeous sepia shots! Your heading is amazing too! :)
Amazing once again...hmmm my favorite...the windmill....I want to come visit....
@ Rebecca : I don't call that pressure. It gives me a REASON to pick up that camera, and the comments and the support I get out of it are very stimulating. I'm having fun!
@ Robin : Bokrijk and sepia go well together, and the snow adds that little extra.
@ hip chick : Well, it's cold here too, but the sky is blue and that makes all the difference!
@ Wanda : It's a small world isn't it? I had pen pals in the States!
@ moneythoughts : I'(m glad you like them!
@ James : Thank you!
@ Pat: I love windmills, anywhere.
@ LceeL : It's beautiful, I agree.
@ awarewriter : Yes, I think that IS the best one.
@ Karen: Thank you!
@ Melli : Tiny little "chapels" for Maria are everywhere, not only in the museum park.
@ maryt/theteach : You have a great eye for color Mary.
@ Linda Higgins :You're welcome. Anytime!
@ Brenda : I do!
Oh my goodness, how absolutely beautiful.
OOOOOOOooooo, that windmill photo!
LOVED IT!
What a wonderful collection of photos! They look just right in Sepia too. I'll be back to visit your little piece of blog heaven again! ;-)
I should try sepia it does look amazing, Your photos are perfect to begin with though. I love the thatched roof with the snow. I am off to London at the end of Jan and want to see it covered in snow, but, then again I don't haha. The kids are having a horrible time getting to work. Kathy.

I couldn't resist commenting. Very well written!
