The pond by the castle had just started to thaw a little around the edges. A perfect opportunity to make some Winter reflection photos. I hope you enjoy.
The kids from the village used to meet in this corner of the pond to go swimming. My husband was one of them. There even was a diving board and cabins to change clothes way back then. You did have to be careful not to jump too deep or you’d end up with your head sticking in the mud!

A trio of beauty. I like them all but the stately trees in the last make the most powerful composition.
Lovely landscapes!
The second one with the tree's reflection in the corner is my favorite!
These are all beautiful, but I especially love the light in the first one. Lovely. Kathy
Lovely one!
Happy weekend.
I really love the third photo. It looks like a very peaceful place for a swim.
Beautiful, yes the second photo is genius Jientje and a cute story. I am catching up after taking two days to undecorate. Happy Weekend, Kathy.
I love the first photo of the tree slightly leaning and it's branches reaching out toward the lake!

Love photos with memories attached to them! Beautiful shots, Jientje!!
Lovely photo. Judging by the square corners, I would guess that this is a man made pond.
Beautiful scenes. You're having a lot of fun with that big camera I think.
The reflections are beautiful within their wonderful frosty frames.
