I would have SWORN your tomato was a PLUM! And I don't agree with ALLLLLL of these sayings - but I do agree with MOST... and I definitely agree that we should look for someone to eat and drink WITH before we look for something to eat and drink! GOOD company makes ANY meal good! And... I LOVE these pictures! And now I'm HUNGRY!

I agree with the wise person - good bread and real butter - all I need. It is so hard to find real butter. It says butter on the lable - when I melt it - just few drops of butter and the rest is I have no idea what - I remember the butter when i was little - it was all butter! I really enjoyed the food and the quotes!
Those quotes are so true especially the one about bread. And needless to say, your photos are wonderful.
I just had roast lamb chops and steamed asparagus for dinner, so nope, I am not in the least hungry. In future I think I will always read your blog after a spectacular meal. That will insure I cook more spectacular meals, and it will keep me from being quite so jealous.
