Welcome to the new, and improved version of Heaven in Belgium.
I am Jientje. "Jientje", like the boys name Gene, followed by "chu"? "Gene-chu", that's how you pronounce my name.
Yes!!!!That's it!! So now you know huh?
I am an addicted blogger.
I was born and raised and am still living in Belgium. Yeah, the "this-is- Tuesday-so-this-must-be-Brussels" kind of Belgium .. There, you see? Maybe you couldn't find it on the map, but at least I'm trying to change that a little by sharing lots of pictures.
I really love to cook and create new things, like this blog for instance.
I am a mother,a grandmothe and a wife too!
They say I'm a traveler, and a photographer. Well that's just what they say, I love to make pictures, but I am far from professional ...
If my English is not perfect, that would be because it's my second language. I do hope you'll forgive me any possible misspellings or strange vocabulary ...
Now, as a result of all of the above,
I get way too little sleep and my days are always much too short!
Love all of them but especially the last one. A wonderful place you have to enjoy and take great pics. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Hope I can make the USA as interesting as Belguim. DF
It looks as if there's an opening in heavens above and I like the softness the mounds of grass give the stark fence, plus mud puddles never looked so good till photographed by you Jientje!
Puddles puddles and MORE puddles! What I'd GIVE for a puddle right now!
I love the reflection of your friend in the puddle! But then it brought to mind a question... when you go on these photo walks as a class... is everyone spotting different things to photograph? Or does one say "oh! look what SHE's photographing! THAT looks neat - let me go photograph it TOO!" So that everyone ends up with pretty much the same stuff? How does it go Jientje?
@ Amy@Bitchin'WivesClub : Thanks, I think that's cow's hair probably! @ hip chick : I like that one too. I'm always looking for something to make it more interesting. @ Joyce : I'm glad you enjoyed this muddy walk! @ Betty : It had rained hard the night before. we did manage to stay dry for the walk though! @ Danifred : Fences are always one of my favorites! @ Tara R.: I love puddles! @ Ms. Fiddlesticks : I'm glad you liked it! Every place has it's beauty. @ Mama Zen : That was a great fence, very photogenic with the barbed wire! @ Fred: There was little else to photograph on this misty gray morning... @ Lyn : The one with the fence or the one with the hair? @ Mishelle Lane : Still wondering which one though? @ Lilacspecs : It felt wet!! LOL! @ Amy : Always looking for reflections! @ Thom : Like i said before I'm always looking for nice reflections, and puddles are sometimes very useful! @ freegal1000 : You're welcome, glad you enjoyed them! @ Jewel : I always try to save the best for last! @ Wanda : Have I ever told you how much I like puddles? @ Melli : Try living in Belgium Melli! Well about photo walks, of course you can learn from each other, but then you would only be copying one another, and that's SO not what I want. Everybody did his own thing last Saturday. And I was the one WAY BEHIND all the rest! I'm really looking forward to see everybody else's pictures, it can be amazing how different they all are. We will see them all in tonight's lesson! @ Secret Mom Thoughts: Thanks! One of my favorites too! @ The Retired One : I have this thing for barbed wire, I don't know where it comes from! @ Cassandra Rae : A bit gloomy though? @ merrymishaps: Yup! I saved it for last! @ quilly : Yes, I like it too, even if I'm not so sure about it. @ frog ponds rock: IU'm glad you enjoyed them Kim. @ lisaschaos : Fences, barbed wires, puddles, all favorites of mine to photograph!

Beautiful shots! I especially like the barbed wire with the tuft of hair. Ouch!
I like the second one where you have framed the trees with trees. Very nice. I also love all the muted morning color.
I should put on my boots this morning. I feel like I am right there with you in these beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing your day with me.

What a beautiful place you live in! I love the fence photos :)
Wonderful set! I really like the mood with all the fog. I especially like the last snap with the puddles and sky reflections.

These are amazing! I particularly like the first picture of the fence.
Just fields and fences, and yet such beautiful shots. I like these pics too.
Oh, those photos are beautiful. The barbed wire is my favourite!
I'm with everyone else. The barbed wire is phenom.
I love the 3rd one! They are all beautiful though. You really capture how a place feels just as much as how it looks.
Lovely!! Good color. The reflection is really a nice one!
Beautiful. I love the morning mist and clouds. And so many wonderful reflection photos. Excellent my Belgian Bombshell :)
The barbed wire shots are awesome...actually, I like all of these snaps. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love the last one most, but they are all beautiful! I love the trees scattered across the dusty horizon.

Every photo is wonderful! Your photos tell complete stores. I especially love the one with the mane snarl on the barbed-wire fence.
Aaaah Jientje they are all lovely shots. I like to look through things as well when I frame a shot. These shots make me feel peaceful. Thankyou
